About Us
If you asked
Keven and Linda what the meaning of success would be they would
tell you, "it's being able to live your dream".
After spending the first 12 years of their marriage in the city,
Keven, Linda and their two toddlers at the time, moved to a ranch
outside of Austin and started pursuing their dream.
While Keven enjoyed the cutting and reining disciplines, Linda
had a passion for paint horses. It was then that their dream
of having a horse ranch became more clear and focused.
When Jay Clark entered their life in 1996, the Sasser's saw a way
to take their dream to the next level - breeding cutting, reined
cowhorses and reining bred paint horses.
The Sasser's goal for Painted Circle Ranch is to be the #1 breeder
for performance paints.
Jay Clark has been studying Quarter Horse bloodlines since the age
of 14. Most of those 25 years have been dedicated to cutting horse
bloodlines. Since 1982 Jay has been working in and around the cutting
and reining horse industry with almost half of that time spent in
horse breeding management.
In the late 80's Jay went to Italy to establish the first artificial
insemination breeding program in the Italian Quarter Horse Industry. Jay
also served as Breeding Manager and Farm Manager for Arcese Quarter
Horses.
Jay is now applying his knowledge of bloodline towards the improvement
of paint cutting and reining horse bloodlines.
